Former chairman Zaka Ashraf has lashed out at the current management of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

While speaking to Cricket Pakistan in an exclusive interview, Ashraf believes that PSL 6 postponement was due to the PCB’s mismanagement.

“It [PSL postponement] was all due to mismanagement because PCB didn’t have a proper system in place. They should have properly tested the players and kept them in a safe environment where no outsiders should have been allowed,” said Ashraf.

He was also disappointed with the way PCB was being run by the current management which also hinting at grouping.

“It is extremely disappointing to see how the PCB is being run these days. A handful of people are in charge of everything and it seems that there is grouping within the PCB,” he said. “There is no sign of club cricket while the domestic structure is in tatters. If these things are not properly established, then how will you get new talent?”
