Pakistan's right-arm fast bowler, Haris Rauf, is on the brink of breaking a long-standing record when Pakistan takes on New Zealand in the remaining two matches of the five-match T20I series at the Rawalpindi cricket stadium.

Rauf now has the perfect opportunity to dethrone former West Indies' captain, Jason Holder, in the list of bowlers with the most wickets in a five-match T20I series.

Jason had claimed a record 15 wickets in a five-match T20I series against England in 2021. In contrast, Haris has already claimed 10 wickets in just three matches and needs to take only six more to break Holder's record.

The ongoing five-game series has taken an interesting turn after New Zealand won the third match at the Gaddafi stadium, Lahore on Monday, reducing the hosts' advantage to 2-1.
