Renowned cricket commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogle revealed his preferred squad for Pakistan's participation in the T20 World Cup 2024. His picks include a balanced mix of experienced players and emerging talents, forming a well-rounded team with both batting and bowling strength.

Bhogle's squad selection features captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, two key figures in the batting order. Alongside them, the squad includes explosive hitters such as Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, and Usman Khan. Azam Khan, known for his power-hitting capabilities, also makes the list, adding depth to the middle order.

The squad boasts a strong presence of all-rounders, including Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan, who can contribute with both bat and ball. Imad Wasim, another experienced all-rounder, brings versatility and expertise to the team.

In terms of bowling, Bhogle opts for a mix of pace and spin. Left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi leads the attack, supported by Mohammad Amir and Naseem Shah. The inclusion of Haris Rauf and Zaman Khan strengthens the fast-bowling unit, while Abrar Ahmed provides a spin option with his wrist spin.

Bhogle praised the versatility of the squad, saying, "Pakistan is a very versatile bunch, and they have the option of putting together a variety of combinations depending on the situation." This flexibility is seen as one of the team's key strengths going into the tournament.
