Renowned Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle has shared his thoughts on the upcoming Indo-Pak T20 World Cup clash, which is scheduled to take place on October 24 in Dubai.

While speaking in a video on his official Twitter account, Bhogle stressed on the importance of Pakistan’s openers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, bearing in mind the brittle middle-order.

“Pakistan depend very heavily on Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. They are wonderful players, Babar Azam is in tremendous form. But if India can knock over a couple in the powerplay, then I’m not sure that the Pakistan middle-order, even though there is now a lot of experience in there, is quite enough to win the game through,” said Bhogle.

Bhogle also believes that India will have the upper hand when it comes handling nerves during the intense clash.

“Of course teams are going to be nervous but it’s a question of how you channelise that nervousness. If it tightens you up, makes you unsure of yourself then you have lost the game there. I think India might have an advantage on that front because couple of times Pakistan have been nervous in the past,” he said.

The 60-year-old also warned against taking the opposition lightly during the match.

“We need to understand that there are two good teams playing. If you disrespect the opposition, you give them a toe in the door and sometimes an opportunity to win the game itself,” he concluded.
