Pakistan pacer, Hassan Ali, has expressed his determination to make a significant impact during his time at Warwickshire, following his successful stint in the LV= Insurance County Championship last year.
In his first interview since joining the county team, Ali revealed that he had agreed to play the full Vitality Blast campaign, including any potential knockout games, and the County Championship until the end of July.

The 28-year-old also spoke about his positive experience playing for Lancashire last year, and his desire to continue playing county cricket.
“Firstly, I would like to say thank you to the management of Warwickshire,” said Ali.
“They have given me an opportunity to be here and play for them and it’s always a pleasure to be here," he added.
The right-arm pacer also emphasized the importance of county cricket, citing legendary Pakistan cricketers Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Saqlain Mushtaq as his inspiration.
“I had a good experience last year when I was playing for Lancashire. I enjoyed my time there and I want to play more county cricket. When I was growing up, legends like Wasim Akram Waqar Younis and Saqlain Mushtaq were always talking about county cricket," he said.
He expressed his excitement at the prospect of playing some exciting cricket and delivering good performances for Warwickshire during his time with the club.
“They always said that if you’re going to get a chance to play county cricket, you should go there. I feel lucky being here and I’m looking forward to some exciting cricket and good performance," he concluded.
