The ongoing Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi are likely to be disturbed due to rain.

The Met Office has informed that strong westerly weather system is likely to enter upper parts of the country on Wednesday and likely to grip upper and central parts on Thursday and persist till Saturday.

Under the influence of this weather system heavy rain, with intermittent thundershowers, is expected in Islamabad/Rawalpindi and Lahore, along with other adjoining areas, on Thursday and Friday. PSL matches on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Rawalpindi and Lahore are likely to be disturbed due to this.

 Following are the five matches that are likely to be affected:

March 4 – Islamabad United v Lahore Qalandars, Gaddafi Stadium

March 5 – Peshawar Zalmi v Quetta Gladiators, Pindi Cricket Stadium

March 6 – Karachi Kings v Multan Sultans, Gaddafi Stadium

March 7 – Peshawar Zalmi v Islamabad United, Pindi Cricket Stadium, Lahore Qalandars v Quetta Gladiators, Gaddafi Stadium
