The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to host the ICC Champions Trophy in February-March 2025.

Following inspections of the National Bank Stadium in Karachi and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the ICC delegation proceeded to the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. Sarah Edgar, Senior Manager of Event Operations, and Aun Muhammad Zaidi, Manager of Event Operations, conducted a thorough evaluation of the stadium's facilities.

PCB representatives provided the delegation with a comprehensive overview of the preparations underway at the Pindi Stadium, including security measures. Chris Tetley, ICC Head of Events, also joined the delegation in Islamabad on Wednesday.

During their meeting, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi engaged with Tetley and other ICC officials, including Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer and Director of International Cricket Usman Wahla.

The discussions centered on the meticulous arrangements required for hosting the Champions Trophy in Pakistan. Naqvi assured the ICC delegation of comprehensive preparations at every level, emphasizing the importance of ensuring a successful tournament. He reiterated the commitment to complete stadium upgrades in time for the event and affirmed that all necessary tasks would be promptly addressed.

Naqvi reaffirmed the PCB's dedication to hosting the Champions Trophy effectively in Pakistan.
