Iftikhar Ahmed smashed four sixes to register this record at the MCG
Iftikhar Ahmed's name is now in the record books as during the T20 World Cup match against India on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), he broke the record for hitting the most sixes in Australia by a Pakistani batter.
The 32-year-old hit four sixes during his innings against India in Pakistan's first game of the mega event. He played a scintillating knock of 51 runs off 34 balls.

Before this, Ahmed was the one in Canberra in 2019 against Australia to hit three sixes.
In 2019, Pakistan's captain Babar Azam hit two sixes in Sydney, and in 2010, Kamran Akmal did the same at the MCG.
