Pakistan all-rounder, Imad Wasim, has opened up about his relationship with the captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam.

While speaking with a local media channel, Imad admitted to the complexity of their connection.

"The answer to this question is complicated but there is no truth in the fact that we are enemies," Imad said.

Few months back, while speaking in an interview with Cricket Pakistan, the all-rounder had stated that there is mutual respect between him and Babar and when he plays for Pakistan, he puts everything else aside.

"When you play for the country, you keep other elements aside, and this is exactly what we did. We kept everything aside. Needless to say, he [Babar] is the captain of Pakistan's team, and I was rather playing as a player. This mutual respect between us has always been there, and it is still there. And when you play for the country, you are obliged to leave all of these things behind," he had said.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir revealed that he and Arthur share a strong bond both on and off the cricket field.

“I’m constantly in touch with Mickey Arthur. We have a good relationship apart from cricket as well,” Amir said.

However, when probed about whether Arthur had encouraged him to take his international retirement back, the left-arm pacer responded, “That is personal.”
