All-rounder Imad Wasim was caught smoking on camera during the PSL 9 final match between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United at the National Stadium in Karachi on Monday.
This incident occurred immediately after Wasim concluded a remarkable spell of bowling, claiming five wickets.
Following his impressive performance, Wasim left the field after completing his bowling spell in the 17th over. Initially presumed to be taking a break, he was instead seen smoking on camera.
Imad's outstanding performance during the final match against Multan Sultans cemented his place in PSL history. He became the first player to secure a five-wicket haul in a PSL final, achieving remarkable figures of 5-23 in his four-over spell.
His exceptional start included dismissing Yasir Khan and David Willey in his opening over. Wasim continued to display his bowling prowess by later taking the wickets of Khushdil Shah, Johnson Charles, and Chris Jordan. This remarkable feat made him the first player to accomplish a five-wicket haul in a PSL final.
