Imad emphasized that the team is united in its goal to win the 2024 T20 World Cup under Babar Azam's leadership
Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim dismissed rumors of any discord between him, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Amir.
Imad emphasized that the team is united in its goal to win the 2024 T20 World Cup under Babar Azam's leadership.
“We have no issues with Babar. He is the captain of the team and we are all supporting him. Maybe Babar has become captain again because he will lead us to the World Cup trophy," Imad said.
He also expressed his own desire to excel in the upcoming tournament.
“I want to satisfy people with my performance on the field and play according to the role given to me,” he further added.
It is worth noting that Pakistan will play three T20Is in Ireland and four in England before heading to the United States for the T20 World Cup.
The 18-player squad for the series against Ireland and England will be trimmed to 15 players for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, which starts on June 1 after the first T20I against England on May 22.
