Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has no regrets over losing the captaincy of Karachi Kings to Babar Azam.

Pakistan's all-format captain Babar will lead Kings in season seven of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL). He was announced as the new captain of the franchise last month after Imad led the side in last four seasons.

"Babar Azam is the captain of Karachi Kings in my place. I have no regrets about being removed from the leadership. Babar Azam is leading Pakistan in a brilliant manner as he has groomed himself really well," Imad said while talking to media in Karachi.

Imad hoped to perform better in PSL 7 as he has worked hard in last few months to regain his lost format.

On the other hand, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali also talked to reporters where they aimed to lead United to third PSL title.

It must be noted that PSL 7 will start from January 27 in Karachi. The tournament will move to Lahore after February. Gaddafi Stadium will host the remaining matches, including the playoffs and final.
