Karachi Kings captain, Imad Wasim, wasn’t impressed with his bowlers’ performance as his team conceded 197-5 despite Peshawar Zalmi being down with three wickets for just 2 runs at one point in their innings.

While talking in the post-match conference, the left-handed all-rounder riled up his bowlers after his team suffered their fifth defeat in the aforementioned by 24 runs on Wednesday in the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League.

"I think we didn't bowl well. Credit to Rovman and Haseebullah, they played really well. We are unable to finish in the last six, seven we gave 90-plus runs. Look, you have to bowl yorkers in here, it's harder to bowl yorkers, length ball was coming onto the bat," said Imad.

"I think there wasn't any spin and spin will always go. We have to be very decisive while bowling. They bowled yorkers in the last over and they are hard to (execute). It was a good day, Amir's form is back but the thing is now we have got three more games and we have to be up for every game. It was tough as a spinner bowling in these conditions, I think Shamsi and Mujeeb bowled well,” he added.

He further added that his team is geared up and is hoping to make a swift comeback in the tournament.

"My last over went for like 18 these are some things that cost games but if had restricted them to 180 and it was a very good wicket, 200 was a par score, not a winning score. We will come hard and try to execute, nothing else we can do," he said.

"We can just go out there and play with pride, play for Karachi, we are still in the tournament, three more games, you never know, someday we can rock up and finish the game but last five games we haven't been able to finish," he concluded.
