"There is no doubt about Babar Azam's abilities. It doesn't matter to us, players come and go, but nothing is more important than the team; now he's playing for a different team, so good luck to him, this time we want to go for aggressive cricket," he said.
"There is no regret for losing the leadership in the past; now that the responsibility has been given again, we will try to present a better game as a team," he maintained.
It is to be noted that under Babar Azam's captaincy, Karachi Kings won only one match out of their ten matches and could not reach the playoffs in the previous edition of HBL PSL season seven.
Under Imad Wasim's captaincy, Karachi Kings won the sixth edition of PSL and was later replaced by Babar Azam despite winning the cup for them.
