Pakistan cricketers Imam-ul-Haq and Faheem Ashraf have been granted permission to skip the training camp ahead of the Australia series due to their upcoming weddings.

Imam's wedding festivities are scheduled to begin on November 23 in Lahore, featuring a Qawwali night, followed by the highly anticipated Nikkah ceremony on November 25 and the Valima reception on November 26 at night. Faheem Ashraf's Valima reception is also set for November 26, taking place in Phool Nagar in the afternoon.

Both players are part of the 18-member Test squad for the Australia tour, with the pre-tour training camp in Rawalpindi starting on November 22 and running until November 28. Despite the camp's importance, Team director Mohammad Hafeez has allowed Imam and Faheem to skip the entire camp to focus on their wedding celebrations. They are expected to join the squad in Lahore on November 30, just before their departure for Australia.

Notably, other Pakistan cricketers, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, and more, are anticipated to travel from Rawalpindi to Phool Nagar to attend Faheem's Valima in the afternoon, followed by a journey to Lahore for Imam's Valima at night.

The identity of Imam's bride-to-be, Anmol Mehmood from Norway, was revealed by renowned designer HSY through an Instagram post captioned "Imam's Anmol" in Urdu, tagging both the cricketer and his future wife.
