Pakistan batter, Ahmad Shahzad, recently shared his perspective on the Indian bowlers during a conversation on a local YouTube podcast.

When asked to identify an Indian bowler who could pose a significant threat to the opponents, Shahzad stated that he did not perceive any of them as truly menacing or intimidating to opposing batsmen.

Shahzad clarified that his remarks were not meant to disrespect the Indian bowlers, but rather to highlight his observation that there hadn't been a bowler from India who instilled fear in the minds of the batsmen.

"No disrespect to them. But there hasn't been any threatening bowler from India that the opposition batter is scared to play him. They have good bowlers like [Jasprit] Bumrah, [Ravindra] Jadeja and [Ravichandran] Ashwin, but there has not been a dangerous bowler as such. Their batters are dangerous," Shahzad replied.

Reflecting on his own encounters with bowlers, Shahzad was asked to identify the most threatening bowler from the Pakistani team that he had faced. In response, he recalled his early days in the team when he had the opportunity to face the legendary Shoaib Akhtar.

"I can't recollect any other bowler apart from Shoaib Akhtar. When I was new to the team, he was already THE Shoaib Akhtar. So I faced six-eight balls from a reverse-swinging old ball against Akhtar," he replied.

In three One Day Internationals (ODIs), Shahzad has scored at an average of 33.66 when playing against India. In four T20 Internationals (T20Is) against the arch-rivals, his average drops to 20.75, with a strike rate of 102.46.
