Ishan scores fastest-ever double century in ODIs

Indian batter Ishan Kishan has created history as he becomes the fastest double-century scorer in One Day Internationals.

The 24-year-old scored 131-ball 210 runs including 24 fours and ten massive sixes.

Previously, Chris Gayle scored his double-century off 138 deliveries, which is now the second fastest in 50 over format.

With this record, he now becomes the fourth Indian batter to score double-century in ODI cricket.

It is to be noted that Indian legendaery batter Sachin Tendulkar scored the first-ever double-hundred in ODI cricket, Captain Rohit Sharma holds the record for most double-century (3) in his pocket.

Reminder for all is that Bangladesh currently leads the three-match ODI series against India 2-0.
