"To be honest, when I think about these things, I say that a miracle has happen in my life as I used to play tape-ball in the village without proper shoes and now where I am. There is a lot of hard work behind these struggles and Almighty Allah helped me to perform at different stages of the career," Dahani said in an exclusive interview with Cricket Pakistan.

"I have spent my whole childhood in the fields and the lifestyle of the village is simply superb and I don't forget these things. During my off days, I stay at my place mostly to feel the old vibe. I tell my friends to stay normal and the way we were in the past. They also feel proud that they played with me and I thank them as they all have some sort of part in making Dahani," he added.

Dahani also revealed her mother's feelings when she sees him playing on the TV. "Mostly, I try to spend my time with my mother at home, she feels proud and she has seen my earlier days of struggle and I share everything with my mother. I can explain in my words how happy she feels while watching me play," he concluded.

It must be noted that Dahani is the leading wicket-taker among pacers in this year's HBL PSL. His spell of 3/19 in the first Qualifier against Lahore Qalandars led Sultans to the final. He was also awarded Player of the Match.
