Nepal leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane will be replacing Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan in the Lahore Qalandars’ squad for the remaining matches of the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Lamichhane made his HBL PSL debut in the 2019 edition while playing for the Qalandars.

Rashid Khan had to leave, after playing the first two games of the event, due to national duty.

Lamichhane has featured in 96 T20s over the course his career, so far, claiming 125 wickets at an average of 18.86 and economy rate of 6.79.

Qalandars are currently third on the HBL PSL points table with two wins out of three games. Their next match is against arch-rivals Karachi Kings on Sunday, at the National Stadium in Karachi.
