Quetta Gladiators have defeated Multan Sultans in clinical fashion by eight wickets, during the ongoing Pakistan Super League in Sharjah.

Sultans posted 160-8 in their allotted 20 overs after Gladiators skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Captain Shoaib Malik continued his good run of form with the bat as he scored 53 runs.

Opener James Vince chipped in with 28 runs.

For Gladiators, pacers Ghulam Mudassar and Mohammad Irfan Jr. claimed two wickets each.

In response, the Gladiators remained in control throughout the innings and chased down the target inside 19 overs.

Opener Shane Watson starred with 61 runs while one-down batsman Rilee Rossouw remained unbeaten on 67 runs.

For his brilliant innings at the top of the order, Watson bagged the award for player of the the match.
