Former Pakistan cricketer, Mansoor Rana, has declined Pakistan Cricket Board’s offer to work as team manager of Pakistan Shaheens squad.

The 60-year-old, who has been serving as the senior team's manager for the past five years, recently also managed the team during the series against Afghanistan.

According to sources, Rana was offered to be Shaheens’ team manager for their tour of Zimbabwe in May. However, he has turned down the offer.

For the past five years, Rana has been working as Pakistan's senior team manager, after previously working as the batting coach at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). 

Currently, he is associated with the Lahore Qalandars team as the director of their High-Performance Center.
