Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq applauded the chair of Men’s Interim Selection Committee Shahid Afridi for selecting three young players in Pakistan Test squad on Tuesday.
“Very good initiative by Shahid Afridi and the interim selection committee to attract youth in longer format of the game in the era of T20 and T10,” the 48-year-old tweeted.
“This will definitely encourage youngsters to play red ball cricket which is the most important format for their development.”
