Misbah-ul-Haq in awe of young English leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed

18-year-old leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed has been included in England Test squad for the Pakistan tour, which includes three ICC World Test Championship matches. 

He could become England's youngest men's Test cricketer as he is 18 and 102 days and if selected, would beat Yorkshire’s Brian Close, who represented England at 18 years and 149 days against New Zealand in July 1949.

England's Test side is currently in Abu Dhabi, where they are playing a three-day against The Lions (England Second XI). Rehan was part of The Lions where he caught the attention of head coach Brendon McCullum.

Rehan was with the English side as net bowler back in 2015 when he was just 11. Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq recalled his first impression of Rehan via tweet and wished him best of luck.

England is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on November 27 is Islamabad. The first Test will start from December 1 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
