Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Najam Sethi will meet Asian Cricket Council (ACC) officials in United Arab Emirates (UAE) to discuss the country’s stance on the Asia Cup 2023 conflict.

The management committee’s chairman will go to Dubai on Jan 12 to attend the opening ceremony of International League T20.

Sethi is expected to meet the ACC officials on the sidelines of the event to discuss the ongoing tension between PCB and ACC President Jay Shah.

Earlier on Friday, ACC had announced a media advisory denying Sethi’s accusations regarding Shah unilaterally deciding the council’s cricket calendar and pathway structure.

The tension between PCB and Jay Shah, who is also Secretary BCCI,  started when the latter announced that this year’s Asia Cup will be moved to a neutral venue.

Pakistan currently has the hosting rights for the 50-over tournament. The venue was not mentioned when ACC announced the calendar last Thursday.

Sethi is also expected to meet International Cricket Council (ICC) officials in the ceremony to discuss 2025 Champions Trophy.
