Islamabad United's Naseem Shah has incurred a 10% fine of his match fee due to a level 1 breach of the HBL PSL's Code of Conduct during their recent fixture against Multan Sultans at Pindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Naseem was found guilty of violating Article 2.2 by kicking the stumps after the final ball of Multan Sultans' innings. Since he admitted to the charge and accepted the sanctions proposed by match referee Roshan Mahanama, a formal hearing was unnecessary.

The charge was imposed by on-field umpires Ruchira Palliyaguruge and Muhammad Asif.

It is worth noting that in another incident during the same match, Multan Sultans received a fine for maintaining a slow over-rate. Match referee Roshan Mahanama found them to be one over short of their target, considering time allowances. Each player was consequently fined 10% of their match fee in accordance with Article 2.22 of the HBL PSL Code of Conduct.
