Fast bowler Naseem Shah spoke positively about the return of Mohammad Amir to the team while speaking during a media session at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday.

Naseem stated that Amir's experience from playing in various leagues is proving beneficial for the squad.

"Any player who contributes positively to Pakistan's performance is pleasing for us. Amir has experience from playing in the leagues which is proving beneficial for the team." Naseem said.

The pacer underscored the importance of performing well against all teams, not just securing a win against India.

"We must play top-notch cricket throughout the entire World Cup. Facing strong opponents drives us to strive harder for victory, and every team in the tournament is formidable," he futher added.

Naseem also discussed his training experience at the camp in Lahore, where each player's needs are being considered for personalized training. He mentioned feeling much better after playing two matches in the PSL and against New Zealand, and his body is now in a great rhythm.

It is worth noting that Pakistan will play three T20Is in Ireland and four in England before heading to the United States for the T20 World Cup.

The 18-player squad for the series against Ireland and England will be trimmed to 15 players for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, which starts on June 1 after the first T20I against England on May 22.
