Pacer Naseem Shah has been sent home to complete his isolation after the 19-year-old tested positive for Covid-19.

According to details, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed Naseem contracted coronavirus after he had been diagnosed with pneumonia.

He was admitted to the hospital on September 28 and returned to the local hotel yesterday after being discharged.

PCB updated that Naseem Shah will follow all precautionary measures by isolating himself at home for the next two days.

Naseem Shah will not play the remaining two matches of the seven-match T20I series against England but will travel to New Zealand with the squad on Sunday for triangular series.

He will follow all the protocols for Covid-19 at home and his isolation period will end on Saturday.

PCB's medical panel will continue evaluating Naseem Shah's health.
