Former Pakistani cricketer Nasir Jamshed has acknowledged his wrongdoing in the spot-fixing controversy, a stain that tarnished his cricketing career.

In a heartfelt message shared on X (formerly Twitter), Jamshed posted a video of himself bowling to his daughter during practice.

Alongside the video, he expressed deep regret, stating, "I won't forgive myself for what I did with my career."

He made a solemn promise to impart his skills to his daughter, declaring, "I am truly sorry, but I will try to pass my talent on to my daughter and give her the best chance."

As a consequence of his involvement in spot-fixing incidents during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Jamshed faced severe repercussions, including a 10-year ban from cricket. Furthermore, he served a 17-month jail sentence in the UK.

Jamshed's international cricket career spanned from 2008 to 2015, during which he represented Pakistan in two Test matches, 48 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 18 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
