Due to their engagements with the English team, English cricketers Harry Brook and Adil Rashid will miss the eighth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Their teams, Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans will pick their replacements in the Replacement Draft on January 25.

Tim David, Jason Roy, and Moeen Ali are partially available, subject to national team selection. Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan may miss a few matches, also Alex Hales and David Miller are partially available too.

Other teams will also be making partial replacements for players who are not available. 

The PSL 8 will begin on February 13 with a match between the defending champions Lahore Qalandars and the 2021 champions Multan Sultans. 

The Replacement Draft for PSL 8, which was initially scheduled for January 24, has been rescheduled due to a nationwide power outage on January 24.
