Paudel has been in top form with the bat, scoring a century against the touring side in the five-game series
Nepal has announced its squad for the T20 World Cup 2024, with Rohit Paudel leading a young team. Their first match is scheduled for June 4 against The Netherlands in Texas.
The selection process did not bring any major surprises, as players were chosen based on their performance in matches during the ACC Premier Cup in Oman and games against the West Indies A team in Kirtipur.

Dipendra Singh Airee, known for his recent world record-equalling feat of hitting six sixes in an over against Qatar in April, adds depth to the batting lineup. Other players like Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh are also part of the squad.
Gulshan Jha, who featured in the U19 World Cup earlier this year, is among the young talents included in the team, along with 19-year-old Pratis GC. Sompal Kami, a veteran from Nepal's debut in 2014, and Karan KC, a cult hero, bring experience to the group as fast bowling options.
Leading Nepal's spin attack is left-arm orthodox spinner Lalit Rajbanshi.
