The squads for the upcoming tri-series in the Cricket World Cup League 2 featuring the Netherlands, USA, and Canada have been confirmed.

The USA Cricket team has announced significant changes to their ODI squad for the Netherlands tour, notably excluding Saurabh Netravalkar, their standout player from the T20 World Cup, who has been granted parental leave following the birth of his first child. Similarly, wicketkeeper-batsman Andries Gous, another World Cup star, will also miss the series due to parental leave.

In addition to Netravalkar, the selection committee has made four more changes to the T20 World Cup side. Corey Anderson, who had a disappointing performance with the bat, has been left out of the squad.

The Netherlands will be missing several key players from their recent ICC Men's T20 World Cup squad, including Teja Nidamanuru, Bas de Leede, Logan van Beek, Tim Pringle, and Fred Klaassen. Additionally, veteran all-rounder Roelof van der Merwe and key batter Colin Ackermann are absent once again for Scott Edwards' side. However, the Ahmad brothers, Musa and Shariz, have been recalled.

Canada, who announced their squad last month, will be led by new skipper Nicholas Kirton, known for his aggressive batting. He takes over from Saad Bin Zafar, who captained the side during the T20 World Cup.

The tri-series will begin in Voorburg on 11 August, with the Netherlands facing Canada. A total of six ODIs will be played among the three teams over 11 days.
