New Zealand Cricket has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup, which will take place in the USA and the West Indies.

The Kiwi team, led by skipper Kane Williamson, showcases a dynamic mix of experience and burgeoning talent, underscoring the depth New Zealand possesses in the shortest format of the game.

Coach Gary Stead will head the support staff, accompanied by batting coach Luke Ronchi and Jacob Oram taking the reins as the bowling coach. James Foster has also been added to the coaching lineup as an assistant coach with a special focus on fielding, ensuring the Black Caps are well-rounded in all aspects of their game.

Additionally, the Blackcaps squad has also unveiled their team kit for the upcoming mega-event tournament, drawing inspiration from the 1999 World Cup edition.

The team is scheduled to depart for the tournament on May 23, with high hopes of making a significant impact on the world stage.

The tournament will commence on 2 June with co-hosts USA taking on neighbors Canada, while fellow hosts the West Indies will play Papua New Guinea in Guyana on the second day of group play.

A total of three venues in the USA and six in the Caribbean will be used for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 as the groups and fixtures for the ninth edition of the 20-over showcase were confirmed on Friday, January 5.

Ten of the 20 teams will play their first match of the 29-day tournament in the USA, with 16 contests to be held in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York, and the blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan scheduled for the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island on 9 June.
