All-rounder makes 38 and takes two wickets to help steer side to victory
An all-round performance by Nida Dar helped ZTBL in their 66-run victory over HEC in the fifth match of Departmental T20 Women's Cricket Championship at the National Stadium of Karachi on Friday.
Electing to bat first, ZTBL posted 142 runs at the cost of two wickets in their allotted 20 overs with the help of a half century by Nahida Bibi, who made 67 runs off 47 balls hitting six fours and two sixes while Nida scored 38 off 27 balls smashing five fours. Nain Abidi, meanwhile, made 31 off 32.
For HEC, Mehaq Amir and Samavia Akhtar took one wicket each for 20 and 25 runs respectively.
Chasing 143, HEC were restricted to 81-9 in 20 overs as Maham Manzoor and Diana Baig took three wickets each for 15 and 23 runs respectively, while Nida took two for nine.
For HEC, Gull Feroza scored 38 off 55.
ZTBL have won all their three matches while HEC have lost all three matches till now.
