Kieron Pollard, the key player for Karachi Kings, has temporarily departed from the team's lineup to attend the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani in Mumbai on Friday.

The dynamic all-rounder will be absent from the Kings' squad for four days to participate in the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani, the son of Mukesh Ambani, one of the world's wealthiest individuals.

As a result, Pollard will miss the upcoming match against the formidable Multan Sultans on Sunday, March 3, at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

However, he is expected to rejoin the squad on March 4 in Rawalpindi, gearing up for the next match against Quetta Gladiators on March 6.

Pollard's absence poses a significant loss for Karachi Kings, as he has been instrumental in their success this season, guiding the team to crucial victories. With 196 runs in five innings at an impressive strike rate of 161.98, Pollard has been a formidable force, delivering 12 maximums, which is currently the joint-highest alongside Lahore Qalandars' Rassie van der Dussen.
