After the successful completion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight, the Pakistan team are gearing up for their next challenge.

The national cricket team is all set to take on a formidable Afghanistan side in an upcoming three-match T20 series, which promises to be an exciting and closely contested battle between two skilled teams.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has instructed the selected players to report to Lahore on Tuesday. All the players are expected to gather at the National Cricket Academy.

Newly appointed Pakistan skipper, Shadab Khan, will hold a press conference regarding the upcoming series on the same day.

This series is significant for both teams, as it will allow them to test their skills against each other ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup scheduled to be held later this year. 

Following the press conference, the national team will leave for Dubai between Tuesday and Wednesday night. 

The series against Afghanistan comprises of three T20 matches that will take place on March 24, 26, and 27 in Sharjah.
