The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani, while talking to media personnel in Lahore on Friday, revealed that Pakistan cricketers will undergo vaccination for the coronavirus in March.

It should be noted that Bangladesh cricketers recently received vaccinations for the coronavirus.

The PCB Chairman further revealed that the officials in the board were in direct contact with the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) regarding the matter.

“We are in discussions with the officials at the NCOC. Pakistan cricketers will be vaccinated in March,” Mani said.

The Pakistan national team is expected to depart for a tour of South Africa at the end of March.  The tour will comprise of One-Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

A tour to Zimbabwe is also expected after the team returns from South Africa. The PCB intends on completing the process of vaccinations for players and support staff before these tours.
