Australia moved ahead of Pakistan in the recent ICC ODI team rankings, released on Wednesday, displacing the Green shirts from fifth place after a convincing 3-0 clean sweep over England.

The T20 World Cup champions, England, lost their top spot after a disastrous loss. The International Cricket Council claims that Australia was rewarded for their outstanding performance in the recently concluded One-Day series against them.

Australia jumped to 112 rating points, surpassing Pakistan and tying India for third place. On the Team Ranking charts, the national team, however, dropped to fifth place with 107 points.

England's ratings dropped to 113 from 119 at the start of the series, giving New Zealand the top spot with 114 rating points.
