The Pakistan team is set to depart for their tour of Ireland and England early on Tuesday morning at 1:30 AM, but notably, one crucial member of the squad, Mohammad Amir, will not be accompanying them.
The pace bowler's departure has been postponed due to a delay in obtaining his visa for Ireland. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) remains optimistic that Amir will secure his visa soon.
This setback is not unfamiliar to Amir, possibly linked to concerns arising from his previous involvement in spot-fixing, which led to a brief jail term in the UK.
