The Men in Green will begin their T20 World Cup campaign with a match against arch-rivals India on October 24 in Dubai.

Former Pakistan captain Azhar Ali has said that Pakistan possesses the ability to beat any team participating in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Speaking to media at the Women Walkathon event in Lahore, Azhar said that all matches in World Cup, including the ones against lesser teams, are pressure matches.

The event was attended by various other cricketers where they addressed the media and commented on the Pakistan cricket team and their chances at the mega event.

"Pakistan is capable of beating every team and we have a squad to pull off those victories," said Azhar.

Meanwhile, opener Imamul Haq said that he was delighted to see the return of veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik.

"I personally wanted [Shoaib] Malik bhai to come back in the team and I hope he proves all the critics wrong. His record against India is good too," said Imam.

"If Pakistan wins the World Cup then I will personally go to the airport. Every player included in the squad has been performing well," added opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad.
