Pakistan players move up in ICC T20I rankings

Pakistan, West Indies and England players have made significant progress in the latest update of the ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings.

England's skipper, Jos Buttler, has climbed one place to seventh among T20I batters after his impressive knock of 84 runs in Birmingham. His teammate, Jonny Bairstow, has leaped eight places to 36th following his contribution of 21 runs in the same match.

The West Indies trio of Brandon King, Johnson Charles, and Kyle Mayers have all surged in the rankings, with King climbing five spots to eighth, Charles jumping 17 places to 20th, and Mayers advancing 12 spots to 31st, thanks to their stellar performances in the recent series against South Africa.

Gudakesh Motie, who was named Player of the Series for his outstanding eight-wicket haul against South Africa, has seen a remarkable rise in the T20I bowlers' rankings, moving from outside the top 100 to 27th overall. England's Reece Topley has also made gains, climbing one spot to ninth among T20I bowlers.

In the Pakistani camp, Shaheen Afridi has moved up three spots to equal 11th, Haris Rauf has advanced two places to 25th, and Imad Wasim has made significant progress, climbing 14 spots to 38th, based on their recent bowling performances.
