The Pakistan cricket team held a training session on Wednesday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

In the days leading up to this session, several players had been grappling with fever, resulting in the absence of six squad members during their initial training on Tuesday. The players who opted to rest on Tuesday included Abdullah Shafique, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Haris, and Zaman Khan.

Following a thorough examination conducted by Dr. Saleem, the medical officer of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), five of the aforementioned players were deemed fit to join the training session on Wednesday. Consequently, all the players from the Pakistan squad, with the exception of Mohammad Haris, who continued his recovery from fever, actively participated in the training. Haris is a travelling reserve and not part of the 15-member World Cup squad.

During the session, the players demonstrated their fitness levels through activities such as sprinting, while Shaheen Afridi and Zaman, in particular, showcased their readiness by bowling with complete run-ups.

The Men in Green will lock horns against Australia on October 20th, set to take place at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
