The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to announce the 15-member national squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup tomorrow, according to sources close to the selection committee.

As per sources, players including Hasan Ali, Salman Ali Agha, and Mohammad Irfan have been omitted from the squad.

The proposed squad, as reported by reliable sources, is as follows:

Babar Azam (Captain), Abrar Ahmed, Azam Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Usman Khan.

The inclusion of young talents like Abrar Ahmed and Saim Ayub alongside experienced campaigners such as Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim highlights the selectors' strategy of blending youth with experience. Babar Azam, the prolific batsman, will lead the team as captain, with wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan as a key player in the lineup.
