The Pakistan team management has decided to adopt a rotation policy for the Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Zimbabwe.

Senior players, such as veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, are expected to be rested.

The rotation policy is being used by the management in order to test youngsters in the side.

According to sources, management is considering opener Sharjeel Khan and batsman Danish Aziz for the playing XI for the series against Zimbabwe.

Pacer Shaheen Shah is likely to be rested for the upcoming series. Youngsters Wasim Junior and Arshad Iqbal look set to get a chance to make their debut. 

Pacer Mohammad Hasnain is also likely to feature in at least two matches. Wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed could also replace wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan in at least one match.

Pakistan will take on Zimbabwe in a three-match T20I series, starting on April 21 in Harare.
