Pakistan head coach, Grant Bradburn, pinpoints the area for improvement in the national team, stating that however the team's line-up is sorted, they still need more improvement in the middle overs where the team hasn't been much successful lately.

While talking to media on Wednesday in Lahore, Bradburn emphasized the value of an aggressive playing style, particularly in the middle over period.

"We are very clear around our starting XI; we are very clear around our batting approach, the way we want to approach the game. We are very clear around how we want to attack the game, particularly in the middle overs. So we believe that Pakistan hasn't been successful in the middle overs as well as we should be, and as you can see behind me, we are working hard on developing some skills to really attack that middle over period with some hostility not only with the bat but with the ball and with our few placings as well. So we want to take wickets through that period, we want to score runs through that period, and we want to take it deep into the 40th over with lots of wickets in hand when we are batting," Bradburn said.

Moreover, Bradburn stated that Mickey Arthur, director of the national team, also wants the players to utilize their skills and play a certain way that will land them victory.

"You saw the way the boys played in Sri Lanka during the Test series, and you can see the way they are playing here right now. So they are looking to play in an aggressive style, they are looking to use their skills, and that's exactly what I'll be demanding and what Mickey will be demanding that they bring out to the middle in Hambantota early next week," he further added.
