The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi discussed the current state of national cricket team and their approach to winning.

In a press conference held in Lahore, Naqvi emphasized the importance of unity within the team, stating, "Our team is united and there is no difficulty in winning, but when there are even small problems within the team, we face difficulties."

However Cricket Pakistan's reporter later questioned Naqvi about potential issues the team may have faced prior to achieving their current level of unity.

"You said that when the team is united, they win. Were there any problems you noticed before that?" our reporter questioned.

Naqvi's response revealed an acknowledgment of these issues as well as a pragmatic approach to dealing with challenges within the team.

"Look, there are problems everywhere. Even if there are two brothers in a house, they face issues. If we say there aren't any, then we are just engaging in good conversation. But the reality is that the team is now in a gel-like state," Naqvi said.

Naqvi's acknowledgment demonstrates a commitment to addressing and overcoming them, ensuring the team remains cohesive and focused on their goals.

It is worth noting that Pakistan defeated New Zealand on Saturday to level the five-match Twenty20 International series in Lahore. The series concluded with a 2-2 draw, with Pakistan winning the second and fifth T20Is and New Zealand securing victories in the third and fourth matches. The first match in Rawalpindi was called off due to rain, resulting in no result.
