In the wake of Pakistan's triumphant performance in the three-match T20I series against Ireland, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi has showered praise on the national team, labeling them as the 'best team in the world.'

Naqvi took to the social media platform 'X', where he conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the Men in Green, acknowledging their stellar teamwork and unwavering dedication.

"Congratulations to the Pakistan Cricket team for winning the series against Ireland! With teamwork and dedication, you have proven to be the best team in the world. Best of luck, boys, for the England series and the World Cup," Naqvi posted.

On Wednesday, the PCB chief arrived back in Pakistan following the successful series against Ireland. 

While in Ireland, Naqvi also met with the Ireland Cricket chief to discuss a potential future series between Pakistan and Ireland.

As part of the Future Tours Programme 2023-27, Ireland will play three one-day internationals (ODIs) and an equal number of Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against the Men in Green.
