PCB chief assured that the PCB would fulfill its promise to install floodlights by September and organize PSL matches in Quetta once the stadium is upgraded

Pakistan's Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, announced plans to host national and international sports events in Balochistan, including considering holding Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Quetta. 

He was accompanied by top officials including Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti and Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove. 

“We are considering the possibility of holding Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Quetta,” he told the press conference.

Naqvi visited Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Stadium where he announced the installation of floodlights within three months to promote cricket in Balochistan.

He assured that the PCB would fulfill its promise to install floodlights by September and organize PSL matches in Quetta once the stadium is upgraded. 

“PCB will fulfil its promise to install floodlights by September. PSL matches will also arranged in Quetta after making the stadium up to the mark,” said Naqvi.

Naqvi also mentioned plans to promote cricket in Gwadar and Quetta.
