PCB lodges complaint with ICC over crowd misconduct in Ahmedabad

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lodged another formal protest with the International Cricket Council (ICC) over delays in visas for Pakistani journalists and absence of a visa policy for Pakistan fans for the ongoing World Cup 2023.

The PCB has also filed a complaint in respect of inappropriate conduct targeted at the Pakistan squad during the India versus Pakistan clash held on 14th October 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Mohammad Rizwan faced a hostile reception from Indian fans on Saturday during the aforementioned clash.

Rizwan fell victim to a deceptive slower delivery from Jasprit Bumrah, departing with a score of 49.

However, as he made his way back to the dressing room, a segment of the crowd started chanting a religious slogan, 'Jai Shri Ram.'

This incident, captured on video, gained widespread attention on social media platforms.
