Sami Ul Hasan Burney replaces Aalia Rasheed as PCB media director

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Media Director Aalia Rasheed has announced her resignation from her position.

In her announcement, Rasheed wrote on X, "Dear friends, I have resigned as Director Media & Communications PCB."

Rasheed had been preoccupied with her daughter's wedding since the previous week. She tendered her resignation to PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and the HR Department, citing personal commitments as the primary reason for her departure. Rasheed had assumed her role during the tenure of PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf.

Meanwhile, PCB has announced the appointment of Sami Ul Hasan Burney as the new Director - Media and Communications.
