The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has prepared a list to seek approval from the Prime Minister for projects and decisions. The list includes mention of costs and salaries.

According to details, in the past few days, the government instructed the PCB to seek approval from the Prime Minister for important decisions, including PSL media rights, and other tenders, bringing all other matters to a standstill.

Some decisions raised suspicions even within the management committee, leading to instructions to limit daily affairs before revealing some decisions. The board was told to inform all its directors promptly about their ongoing projects so that approval could be obtained.

Sources revealed that the PCB has compiled a list of all its current and future important projects, which can be sent on Thursday. Regarding the sale of media rights, it was stated that PSL is imminent, so media rights should be sold soon to fetch a suitable amount. Permission has also been requested for T10 League and other exhibition matches. Other major and minor projects are also included in the summary.

Furthermore, sourcers reported that the board intends to sign a contract with team director Mohammad Hafeez for 2 to 3 years. Similarly, Wahab Riaz's appointment as chief selector will also be made permanent by consulting the higher authorities. Details of other major appointments have also been written, but minor-level decisions have been left to daily affairs.

Lastly, sources revealed that details of all projects, along with costs, have been documented, and officials' salaries have also been written. If the Prime Minister approves any of these projects, further work will proceed, and others will be halted. If there is opposition to any promotion, it will also be resolved. One benefit of this practice is that if there is any change in the board, the new authorities will be bound to maintain approved projects and decisions by the patron.
